A dependable local crew behind your install.
Installation projects fail on the details: a missed elevator window, a piece in the wrong room, nobody to call. We built this service around the people who carry those risks.
Interior designers & design firms
Your install date is fixed, the client is watching, and the furniture is only as good as its placement. A dependable local crew that follows your plan means your vision shows up the way you drew it.
Project managers
Fit-outs run on windows, approvals and handoffs. We work from your scope, confirm access and crew needs ahead of time, and flag problems before they become change orders.
Furniture retailers & showrooms
Delivery-stage labor is often the weak link between a sale and a finished room. We provide hands-on unloading, assembly and placement support at the customer’s site.
Model homes & staging
Staging has tight timelines and a lot of repositioning. A crew that understands room-by-room setup and can come back for adjustments saves your team hours.
Property & development teams
Furnishing a unit, a lobby or a hospitality space means building rules, elevator bookings and multiple rooms. We plan around the building, not around our convenience.
Out-of-state design firms
Managing a South Florida project from New York, California or abroad needs a local crew you can trust with the details, and one point of contact so you aren’t chasing updates.
Hands-on installation labor, done with care.
White-glove here describes the care we bring: how pieces are handled, how we communicate, where they are placed, and how the work is documented.
Unloading & careful handling
We unload deliveries by hand, check items against your list, and move them to the work area with suitable equipment.
Assembly & reassembly
Furniture assembly and reassembly within crew capabilities. Complex or specialty pieces are reviewed in the scope first.
Room-by-room placement
Pieces go where your floor plan or instructions say, room by room, so the install matches the design.
Positioning & repositioning
Final adjustments, last-minute changes and walkthrough fixes, placed with the designer’s eye.
Surface & furniture protection
We protect floors, walls, doors and furnishings along the route and in the work zones.
Unpacking & packaging removal
Cartons and wrap are removed from the work area so the room can be reviewed clear.
On-site staging support
Hands-on help staging furnishings in model homes, showrooms and client reveals.
Multi-room & multi-day labor
Larger installs are planned in phases, with crew size and days written into the estimate.
FF&E installation support
Support for furniture, fixtures and equipment installs, available upon scope review.
Coordination around access
Delivery windows, elevator reservations, loading docks and building access are confirmed before the crew arrives.
Photo documentation & punch-lists
Before and after photos and punch-list support when agreed in the project scope.
Debris removal & disposal
Off-site disposal only when separately quoted and arranged. Packaging removal from the work area is part of the install.
This is a labor service. We are not a freight carrier, receiving or warehouse provider, long-term storage, or a licensed contractor. We do not do electrical or plumbing work, wall mounting or specialty rigging, and we do not transport freight as part of installation. Anything outside this list is handled only if it is available upon scope review.
Your Project Is in South Florida. You Don’t Have to Be.
Designing from New York, California, Chicago, Atlanta or abroad? Your South Florida installation partner works from your plan, keeps one person accountable, and tells you what you need to know without making you supervise every piece.
One designated contact
A single person who knows your project, so you never repeat yourself.
Approved plans
We work from your approved floor plan, placement plan or written instructions.
Clear installation instructions
Anything the plan doesn’t cover is confirmed with you before pieces move.
Scheduled updates
Updates at points agreed in the scope, not a promise of constant availability.
Exception escalation
Damage, missing items or access problems are escalated to you right away.
End-of-job photos
When included in the project scope, you receive photos of the finished rooms.
New York designer, Boca Raton residence.
You’re based in New York. Your client’s residence is in Boca Raton. Your furnishings are arriving on a scheduled date. We review your placement plan, confirm building access and crew needs, and coordinate on-site labor according to your approved scope. You remain informed without having to supervise every piece of furniture.
This is an example of how a remote project would run, not a completed project.
One Standard. Every Project.
Eight steps from first message to final walkthrough, so every project is scoped, approved and closed out the same way.
This is the standard workflow DIY Moving Help is adopting for installation projects. It describes how we will run each project going forward, not a claim about past jobs.
Installation Project Checklist
Not sure what to gather before you ask for an estimate? Tell us about your project and we’ll send the intake checklist with your reply.
Published rates. Written estimates.
Additional time is billed at the agreed per-mover hourly rate, subject to the signed estimate and contract. Crew size, special equipment, protective materials, disposal, transportation, multi-day scheduling and any other charges are clearly scoped in your written estimate. Final pricing depends on the approved project scope. Commercial installation rates are separate from our residential rate.
How the math works
Examples for the minimum booking only. Your estimate lists every line.
What makes an installation run smoothly.
Delivery windows
The date and window set by the carrier or retailer decide when our crew needs to be there.
Receiving responsibilities
Someone must receive and sign for the delivery. We provide installation labor, not receiving or storage.
Plans & inventory
Floor plans and an item list let us size the crew and place every piece correctly.
Building requirements
COI requirements, dock reservations, elevator access and move-in rules are confirmed ahead of time.
Protective materials
Floors, walls and elevators are protected. Any materials we supply are scoped and quoted.
Approvals & contact
One point of contact, and a clear person who can authorize changes.
Before We Arrive
A short checklist you can run through with your team. Tick them off and watch the crew roll in.
Not just labor by the hour.
An installation is a project with a plan, an approver and a result, and we treat it that way.

Straight answers for designers and project managers.
Anything we do not list here, we are happy to review. Services outside our confirmed scope are available only after project review. Ask us about your project.
Do you work with out-of-state interior designers?
Yes. Many of our projects can be managed remotely. You send the plan and scope, we confirm access and crew needs, and you work with one designated contact. The project itself has to be in our South Florida service area.
Can you follow floor plans and placement instructions?
Yes. We work from your approved floor plan or written placement instructions, room by room. Anything the plan does not cover is confirmed with you before pieces are placed.
Can you unload furniture from a delivery truck or container?
Yes. We provide the labor to unload by hand and move items to the work area. We do not provide the truck, container or transportation. Someone on site must be ready to receive the delivery.
Do you offer receiving or warehouse storage?
No. We are an on-site labor service and do not offer warehouse receiving or storage. If your project needs it, tell us during the scope review so we can plan the delivery stage around your carrier or retailer.
Do you assemble furniture?
Yes, assembly and reassembly within our crew’s capabilities. Complex, specialty or custom pieces are reviewed in the scope first, and anything we cannot do safely is flagged before the date.
Can you support multi-day projects?
Yes. Larger installs are planned in phases. Crew size, days and schedule are written into the estimate before work is booked.
How much does furniture installation cost?
Commercial installation labor is $65 per hour, per mover, with a 4-hour minimum and a $100 administrative fee. For example, 2 movers for 4 hours is $620 and 3 movers for 4 hours is $880. Final pricing depends on the approved project scope and written estimate.
What happens if an installation takes longer than estimated?
Additional time is billed at the agreed per-mover hourly rate, subject to your signed estimate. If the scope changes or the job is running long, we flag it and seek approval before chargeable work continues.
What if furniture arrives damaged or incomplete?
We flag it as soon as we see it and tell your designated contact, so you can decide how to proceed. Where agreed in the scope, we document the issue with photos. We do not make claims on your behalf against a carrier or manufacturer.
Can you provide a COI for a condo or high-rise?
Building COI requirements differ. Send us the building’s requirements when you request an estimate and we will confirm what we can provide before the install date.
Can you remove packaging and debris?
We remove packaging from the work area as part of the install. Off-site debris removal and disposal is available only when separately quoted and arranged.
What information do you need to prepare an estimate?
The project address, requested date or range, a rough count of pieces or rooms, delivery or container details, building access, elevator and COI requirements, and the services you need. Floor plans or an inventory help, and you can send them after your request.
